Complete Problem Analysis & Design the Intervention
This takes place after diagnostic assessments have been completed.
Purpose: Review the diagnostic information to determine whether the team hypothesis is supported.
During this meeting your team will:
Review Diagnostic Results
- Review assessment results
- Review observations
- Review any additional information collected
Validate the Hypothesis
Perform hypothesis validation to determine whether the evidence:
- Supports the hypothesis
- Suggests the hypothesis should be revised
- Indicates additional information is needed
Make a Decision
If the hypothesis is supported:
- Identify the target skill(s)
- Develop a measurable goal.
- Select an evidence based intervention
- Develop the intervention plan
- Schedule the intervention review meeting
If the hypothesis is not supported:
- Revise the hypothesis
- Select additional assessments
- Schedule another diagnostic review meeting.
