Everything in Ladderly is built around the problem-solving process — a structured cycle that helps teams identify students who need support, pinpoint why they're struggling, develop targeted interventions, monitor student progress, and adjust interventions based on results. You'll see this process referenced throughout the app.
The Problem-Solving Cycle
The cycle has four steps. Teams move through them in order, and return to the start whenever the data says a plan needs to change.
Problem solving is an ongoing process — after measuring growth, teams decide whether to continue, adjust, intensify, or conclude the plan, and the cycle begins again.
